FRUIT DIET

All fruits contain acids which are necessary for the proper elimination of various toxins, poisonous acids, and other impurities. Natural acids are highly alkaline. The value of a fruit diet cannot be over-estimated, especially in sickness, ill-health, or whenever the body is filled with poisons. germs cannot live and grow in fruit juices. Typhoid fever and cholera germs cannot resist the action of fruit juices such as lemons, orange, pineapple, strawberry, apple and grapefruit. A fruit diet will disinfect the stomach and alimentary canal. Fresh fruits are more effective for this purpose than stewed fruits. Citric, malic, tartaric acids are powerful germicides found in fruits. Malic acid is found in pineapples, apples, quinces, pears, apricots, plums, peaches, cherries, currants, gooseberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, elderberries, grapes and tomatoes. ARMS- lubricate from wrist to shoulder. Friction from hand to shoulder. Filling from shoulder to hand once. Spiral friction from hand to shoulder, twice to each side of the arm, beginning on the inside of the arm. Knead from hand to elbow three times, friction. Repeat. Rotary kneading to elbow. Rolling, down three times, alternating with upward friction. Friction from hand to shoulder. Percussion from shoulder to hand. Hacking, spotting down and up each side once. Joint movements- bend and then pull the arm, then move around in a circle. Vibration and stroking.

CHEST- lubricate. Friction. Pulling down one side and up the other. Friction. Beginning on neck, palm kneading, twice. Friction. Percussion, tapping, hacking, spatting , stroking.

ABDOMEN- lubricate. Deep breathing. Deep vibration. Side and circular shaking. Percussion, tapping, hacking, spatting, clapping on colon. Knead colon twice. Friction. Pulling up and down each side, and up and down the rectal muscles. Rotary kneading twice each side, alternate friction. Stroking.

LEG- lubricate. Friction up. Pulling down. Spiral friction up, twice to each side of the leg, beginning inside. Circular friction up. Rotary kneading to foot, leg and knee, three times, alternating with friction, repeat.

BACK- lubricate. Friction. Pulling down one side and up the other. Friction. Knead spine with thumb. Give rotary kneading to both sides twice, alternating with friction. Heavy friction down spine, twice. Circular heavy kneading down each side of spine, twice. Knead shoulders with palm. Knead down each side of spine with palm. Grasp the muscles up an down the spine. Heavy wringing up, down and crosswise. Percussion, hacking, spatting, clapping. Stroke entire back. Finish with at least ten light friction strokes to back.
